Jon Gosselin returned to the Hamptons on Friday night. The recently separated father of eight enjoyed a business dinner at Philippe in East Hampton with his attorney, Mark J. Heller, and Heller's wife Debra. The three dined on the outdoor patio and Jon posed for photos with fans. Bethenny Frankel and her boyfriend Jason Hoppy were also at Philippe on Friday night. The couple was at the eatery filming scenes for Season 3 of The Real Housewives of New York City and introducing Bethenny's new bottled line of the Skinnygirl Margarita to the menu at Philippe. Bethenny tweeted from the East Hampton hotspot:

In other Housewife news, Ramona, Jill, LuAnn, and Alex all boarded a yacht in Sag Harbor to film their own scenes for Season 3. We're told the drama started to unfold before the ladies even left the dock.

Consummate bachelor Hugh Grant was in Southampton over Labor Day Weekend. Grant was in town with his brother Jamie to support their father, James Grant, who had a show at the Keszler Gallery on Main Street. James’s exhibition, “James Grant Watercolors,” featured over 80 pieces of his work and benefited the Southampton Fresh Air Home.

Desperate Housewives star Kyle McLaughlin and his wife Desiree Gruber hit up The Blue Parrot in East Hampton for dinner over Labor Day Weekend, while James Lipton and actor Jean Reno (The Professional, Pink Panther, The Da Vinci Code) chose Nick & Toni's.

Also at Nick & Toni's, Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dined with Alan Patricof and his wife Susan on Tuesday night. Surrounded by secret service, the Clintons enjoyed fresh salads to start with a plate of zucchini chips to share at their table in the front room. Hilary sampled the Bucatini all’Amatriciana, while Bill had Penne alla Vecchia Bettola.

Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman dined at Matto in East Hampton with his wife and friends on Saturday night. They all had Branzino filleted tableside. Over in Amagansett, Mario Batali and his orange Crocs enjoyed a taco lunch at La Fondita on Tuesday.

Venturing outside of the Hamptons for a BBQ fix was Star Jones. The former daytime Diva and her “S.O.” Herb Wilson paid a visit to the working-class town of Ronkonkoma last weekend to fill a craving for BBQ Ribs at the chain restaurant Smokey Bones, near exit 60 on the L.I.E. The couple enjoyed ribs, slaw and corn bread on their way home from the US Open.
