Cat Rescue Lands Animal Lover In Court
Category: Only In The Hamptons
New York Post reporter Kieran Crowley has a story in today's paper that's bound to ruffle a few feathers...make that whiskers. It's about 71-year-old Tom Young of Westhampton Beach and his neighbors, Deanna and Herbert Jacobi. The Jacobi's are both retired lawyers who had Tom arrested for rescuing a cat that was trapped and starving under their multimillion-dollar home for two sweltering days in July. Tom is the animal lover who now has an arrest record and a pending mountain of legal bills. The Jacobi's think Tom is "loony." We think they're litigious curmudgeons. What's your take? Read it online at NYPost.com and let us know what you think.
